Vingroup started construction of Vinhomes Green City project with a scale of nearly 200 hectares in Duc Hoa (Long An)

On the morning of March 26, 2025, Vingroup Corporation started the Hau Nghia - Duc Hoa New Urban Area project (commercial name: Vinhomes Green City), the first complex urban area in Long An.

Accordingly, the project is deployed on an area of ​​197.2 hectares in Hau Nghia town, Duc Lap Thuong commune and Tan My commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province. Vinhomes Green City project has a total investment capital of more than 28,000 billion VND, a relatively large scale in Long An province. The urban area is developed with low construction density.

The project has a convenient connection location with Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the Southwest - where urbanization and industrial development are rapid. Specifically, from Vinhomes Green City, it is possible to conveniently connect to Ho Chi Minh City via National Highway 22 (Trans-Asia Highway) or Provincial Road DT-10-CT02 (DT825), and at the same time access the Southwestern provinces and Cambodia through key routes such as CT02, National Highway 1A, National Highway 22.

The inter-regional connectivity of Vinhomes Green City is increasingly comprehensive when key infrastructure projects such as Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway, Metro Line 2 Ben Thanh - Tham Luong come into operation, directly accessing seaport systems, airports, and key industrial parks.

Sharing at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee, said that the groundbreaking of the Vinhomes Green City project marks a very special turning point for Long An. Duc Hoa is one of the leading districts in the province. Previously, Duc Hoa mainly developed industry, while urban services were not prominent. Accordingly, the groundbreaking of the Hau Nghia - Duc Hoa New Urban Area project proves that Duc Hoa (Long An) has put on a new coat, with a strong urban character. This is the desire of the province in recent times.

According to the Chairman of Long An, the Hau Nghia - Duc Hoa New Urban Area project, when completed, will contribute to promoting socio-economic development through improving the quality of infrastructure, attracting investment and creating jobs for thousands of workers.

In addition, the Urban Area also meets the high-end housing needs of tens of thousands of residents. With a large scale and a modern utility system, the project promises to become a quality place to live for experts and engineers working in neighboring industrial parks. In addition to this urban area project, in the near future, Vingroup will invest and commence 2 urban area projects in Long An.

According to Mr. Ut, in the first quarter of 2025, Long An province has witnessed many events of inauguration and groundbreaking of new large-scale projects. The province has inaugurated 2 projects put into operation including Provincial Road 826E, a fabric factory with a capital scale of over 4,000 billion VND. In addition, the province has started and inaugurated new industrial and traffic works such as DT822B, connecting DT825, Ben Luc Urban Area project, Ben Luc Industrial Park equivalent to 20,000 billion VND. In addition, Long An will start construction of a series of roads with convenient connection locations between the province and Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region. This is a premise for Long An to have the driving force for socio-economic development.
